I gardened this morning, with a quick trip to buy eggs to do some baking with in between more gardening. Harry helped put the now empty compost bin back together and to fill the rat hole that comes from under next doors decking. We filled it with those soapy wire wool pads, human hair and a citronella candle, all things that on line it says that rats don't like. And then covered the area with strong steel mesh. Hopefully they will go an easier route into her garden and not mine now. But the trap is still set, with more peanut butter.
After that I got cleaned up and went to visit Lin and Coco, for a catch up after her visit to Holland.
Coco was quite tired so climbed across our knees and fell asleep, I had the head end, Lin the other. Somehow she balanced across us as we sat in garden chairs.
I came back and did a bit more gardening before dinner.
