Felt like a child in a sweet shop today. Spent a fascinating eye-feast of a morning visiting Britain’s largest private car collection in Potters Bar.
It is owned by the man who invented the Take A Ticket machine used at supermarket delicatessen counters and in hospital clinics. This amazing collection, worth over £50 million, includes many beautiful rare cars, 24 Austin Martin Lagondas, Princess Diana’s Audi cabriolet and Sir George Martin’s Rolls-Royce with all the Beatles’ album titles embroidered on the leather panel between the back seats.
As for this row of models, they are all child sized!
