The Pantiles

A trip to Royal Tunbridge Wells and in spite of it being a grey and not very warm day, people were eating and drinking al fresco. Not us though, it has to be 30C before I sit outside. We had a lovely tapas lunch at Sopranos accompanied by a tasty Spanish wine.

A browse around the many independent shops and galleries, although we came home empty handed but full of ideas.

We had a walk around Calverley Gardens, a small park planted with beautiful flowers and trees. But not for much longer as the Council plan to demolish much of the gardens to build themselves some fancy offices and a new theatre. Oh yes, and a car park as well.
