Problem rear ring

The rear adjustment ring on my trusty Canon S120 is failing...  The camera has also started failing to power on sometimes.

I can't decide whether it's time for a screwdriver, trip to a repair shop, like-for-like replacement with a second hand unit, or a new camera...  The S-series is discontinued, so there isn't really an obvious option for a new replacement.
