Flaming Failure

I succeeded in making myself a cup of something hot to drink while writing (or at least thinking about what I would write) in my NaNoWriMo novel. I failed, however, in capturing the natural gas flames in an appealing way. Unfortunately those were the only photos I took today, and this was the best(?) of the set. Perhaps I'll try again sometime when I have more time.
