And breathe…

After a very frustrating and tiring hour and a half at the bank (the young man who I met with was new to the job and had to go and ask a colleague for help with my problem four times, even then I left the bank without the problem having been resolved), I needed a calming breather so walked home the scenic route, past the church and through the park.

The parish church dates back to the thirteenth century though the south porch seen here has been renovated since then. I’m not sure how old these figure heads are, but judging by the state of this lady’s nose she’s been around a while, for even longer than I spent wasting my time in the bank!
