Arbroath Signal Tower

Looking after 3 grandkids today and as we couldn't fir them all in our car we went to Arbroath on the bus.
First we had a walk round the harbour, then to the Signal Tower Museum, which the oldest one was very reluctant to go in and moaned about it (apart from this they behaved very well). It was originally shore station and staff quarters for the Bell Rock LIghthouse, which you could just see 11 miles offshore. Inside it is information about the building of the lighthouse.
We then continued along to the miniature railway for a ride before getting the bus back. We only had to pay for 1 of us on the bus - and that one a child!.
Later the 2 boys and I went to find the golfer penguin and then I had to get the tea sorted as Mum and Dad were delayed.
I think we exhausted everyone!
