Ynys Llanddwyn

This morning we went to RAF Valley to watch the jets coming and going (extra photo).

We then went to RSPB Valley Wetlands but there weren’t many birds.

This afternoon we went for a walk to Ynys Llanddwyn (a tidal island) as soon as the tide had gone out enabling us to walk across the and to the island. It was sunny but very windy and the sand was flying around, getting in our eyes and everywhere that was exposed!

It’s a fantastic walk with a ruined church, crosses, two lighthouses and interesting cottages. The blip is of the church.

There is an extra of one of the beautiful and deserted beaches on the island.
