Glasgow School of Art to be rebuilt

Good news! Following the disastrous fire (cause still unknown) Glasgow School of Art is to be rebuilt.

Well, I look back with some nostalgia on my time there particularly the Police Box project, part of my portfolio submission.
 
The remit I was given by my tutor was to do a piece of public art. So I got a commission from the city’s Gallery of Modern Art to decorate one of the Police Boxes with spots.
 
This was a fun piece  and serious artists do not do humour- as I quickly found out when I became a full time student at Glasgow School of Art.
 
But the world has moved on and today we have social media and I have used this image to add another layer of humour to it.
