Small White

I had the pleasure of Nicoisannie's company on my walk today and I introduced her to the delights of butterfly stalking.  There were large and small whites, brown argus, common blues, meadow browns, speckled woods and the graceful fritillaries, which looked almost luminous, floating around the wood.

Later we had a leisurely lunch before she had to get back into work mode.  Such a shame.  Thanks for the company.
