Unloaded and Gone

19.7C and mostly cloudy with showers forecast for late afternoon. Light E/S/WNW/SSE breeze..

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour and carried on along the park and Kilkerran road to Glenramskill House. It was warmer and felt very humid. The ship that brought all the wind turbine sections sailed before this morning's walk, but unusually the New Quay is still covered in the items it brought. As we walked along the shore path in the park I watched Thalassa (tall ship) coming across the loch towards the harbour.

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open, with the owner standing outside "vaping" and talking to a very Goth looking young lady).

On the Clip while walking:
The Scotland Outdoors podcast with Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith. Mark and Euan visited the coastal village of Collieston. They heard about its history, went rock pooling and tackled a beach picnic
Continuing with the series of podcasts from Radio Scotland, Classic Scottish Albums, I listened to the episode on The White Room by The KLF.
