Reaching for the sky

Some of the trees in the arboretum are over 70 years old.  This must be one of the most impressive of them.  I must be at least 50 metres tall.  It is a great place to find some deep shade as we get into really high temperatures.  J. arrived from the UK and I joined them for coffee in the morning.  Both his sons are running the Canigou race on Sunday.  I wish them well!
