Brown Argus

A Brown Argus - but not any old Brown Argus, this is the first one I've recorded on my Lane End transect (now in its second year) which is a mixed habitat of open heath fringed with coniferous woodland to the north and south and deciduous woodland to the east and west. I found four of these butterflies including this slightly tattered female which was egg laying.
