Why does time go so quickly!

Can't believe 2 weeks of the school holidays have gone already!  Another very hot day.  Went to the opticians this morning and he was pleased with me, return in a years time:)  Had lunch out with a friend, visited another and then did gardening for another.  Came home, watered my garden and cut some things back that are half dead due to lack of rain, made some phone calls and had tea.  Took this in the garden, it was one of the plants that looks half dead!  The flowers are few and tinier than usual.
