Small copper butterfly

There were hoverflies everywhere in the garden today. There must have been some sort of mass emergence related to the weather, I think. I went to look for butterflies on the buddleia, hoping to spot one of our usual butterflies. But still no red admirals etc, but then I spotted the small copper, which I've not seen here before, and therefore had to look up on the butterfly recognition chart. First butterfly in the garden this year. In extras, standing room only.
