The glass ceiling

At the festival tonight the performance of the suffragettes was quite touching. It certainly made me think about groups who are disenfranchised today. I'm sure in many ways we can't be very far from a similar situation using similar methods in the fight for equality. The poetry and music enhanced the message about the nature of democracy, its fragility and its ellusiveness.

The journey for equal rights for all is still not over. 100 years later.
