Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome

An early start this morning as L and I headed for the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome to watch some of the cycling qualifing rounds in the European Championships.

My first visit to any velodrome ..... it's quite a space and when you see the steep angle of the banking it's quite terrifying.

I'm sorry that I won't be in tonight to watch Katie Archibald compete in the final of the 3000m Individual Pursuit having watched her win her qualifying round this morning ..... I will certainly record the race and watch it when I come in.
