Found another lacewing in the bathroom (on the ceiling) so got out the macro and flash and explored lighting angles...
My mother and I went to St. James's Park in the afternoon to see the Ross'sling, but the little cow geese were being aloof (staying by the edge of the water, far from the path...) so I only took a small(ish) number of photos (right from here), inc. a scarf-wearing cygnet; tufted ducks and ducklings diving, swimming submerged, and resurfacing; and a sweet Chiloe wigeon.
