Screaming in the night

This night it was too hot to stay sleeping inside, so in the middle of the night I dragged a mattress out on the terrace. It felt so wonderful to feel the cool air and I started to relax. 

I was just falling asleep, when I heard a very loud scream above me. I jumped up like a spring and screamed as well. There was this black cat sitting on the railing and I don't know why it screamed. Maybe it got surprised to see somebody on the floor. Or I just looked very scary. Anyway, my heart was jumping and I couldn't stay out.
