Altar piece

An afternoon volunteering at Little Sparta.  We were busy with visitors - an Argentian gentleman now living in New York, a Belgian architect who bought a pile of books and a Swiss landscape architect taking his family round the UK and this garden was the highlight.  And loads of people from Edinburgh escaping the festival.
There is only one indoor space - the Temple dedicated to a couple of Greek gods.  Inside is an altar with inscribed words - 'Gods may be known to exist on account of the existence of altars'.  Quite.
