Sleeping Beauties

Creeping Lady's-sorrel, otherwise known as Sleeping Beauty, is thriving on my garden path.

Home for this plant is nothing more than a dry, sun-baked, crevice between paving stones leading to my front door.

So often, I've walked over these sleeping beauties, without giving them any thought at all.

But the plant is worthy of note. The little flower is beautiful, the leaves are edible, and the plant can be used to treat ailments.
