Mackerel skies

A lovely day dawned again, we wandered along the coast to Samphire Hoe, an area west of Dover which is where all the spoils from building the Euro tunnel were put. This has made a seawall about 1.7k in length which is used to stop the erosion of the chalk cliffs by the sea. The extra shows people fishing off the wall, l stopped to chat to a young boy who was holding a mackerel his dad had caught, the lovely patterning of it's scales matching the sky above.
