This is a private garden with an honesty box and an amazing world of flowers ten minutes from Rothesay. 

The flowers are lovely, but if you are a bird watcher this a haven for them too. Plus the butterflies, small coppers, painted ladies, red admirals and peacock butterflies all sat showing off their colours on the buddleia. 

We only had a couple of hours before catching the ferry but I think this garden is one thing I will remember from our Bute trip.
