White Horse

We cycled to the White Horse in Tattingstone for lunch. We stopped going there a few years ago because we would rather go where we did not have to fight to get to the bar and then had to jump up & down to get he barman's attention - not because they were so busy, but because the locals/regulars hogged the bar and no one was interested in custom not sitting at the bar already - but it's under new management, so we gave them a last chance. We found out that it's actually the second new management as the new people are only there for a month and the previous new owners were there for 18 months. Service and food was good enough for another visit. The horse needs a bit of attention though.

It was too hot to eat so I had a starter & tjips

On the way back C put his foot where there were nothing to put his foot on. He fell over in slow motion in a non-spectacular way, but tore a muscle or tendon or both in his leg and had to struggle home, using the bike as a scooter as he couldn't put any weight or pressure on his right leg.
