Prince at Dinas

Resting after hauling the WHR Heritage Train form Dinas to Rhyd Ddu, and back, Prince sitting outside the carriage shed in Dinas North Yard.

The day started with the train departing Dinas to Tryfan Junction where the restored station building was available to viewing and refreshments provided whilst run pasts were operated. Following that the train proceeded to Waunfawr to cross with a train from Porthmadog and pick up the packed lunches. Stops were made at Betws Garmon and Glan-yr-afon before reaching Rhyd Ddu where the lunch stop was made. Clear skies meant that the summit of Snowdon could be seen, as could trains heading for the summit.
