The Titanic Hotel

Today is our 35th wedding anniversary, and we decided to have a night away, we didn't want to go too far, and we've never stayed in Belfast, so it seemed like a good idea! The Titanic Hotel only opened in 2017, and was once the drawing offices for Harland and Wolff, the design for the Titanic was drawn here. The theme, naturally enough, is the Titanic and the rooms all reflect the engineering and history of Belfast docks. The corridors are kept dim, to mimic the dim corridors on the Titanic for example. I am grateful however that the rooms don't mimic the size of the cabins on the ship, I reckon our room would be the size of perhaps 3 Titanic cabins! The bathroom is probably about the size of a 2nd class cabin! We've booked dinner this evening, and the cocktail bar sounds very nice, I feel a little exploring coming on lol.
