A Keen Eye PondLife 2

Red-shouldered Hawk sitting in the Winged-elm over the Pond. She sat there for quite some time. I was able to walk slowly around the area taking many photos of young raptor. Finally we heard the far-off call of another hawk. She seemed to listen intently and then made several calls in response. The other hawk flew in and then they flew off together. If you look closely you can see some spider web on her beak. She must have flown through one on her way to the Pond.
