Clearing the Lake

In preparation for the communities big fish harvest, the lake needs to be cleared of weeds. Women from the village of Budhi in Kapilbastu were in the water from early Sunday morning until the sun started to sink in the evening. It was tough, gruelling work, but when the fishing begins tomorrow it will have all been worth it!
