From the 15th floor

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Breakfast meeting. Well two actually. Keynote from Brit emigre to Oz. A session on micro-services (of course). Lunch.

My session after lunch didn’t go as well here as it did in Porto. But, now I know what to change for Cambridge and Edinburgh.

Adam (and Troy) took us through a simple, maths-lite, probabilistic forecasting approach. I really liked the story about how the allies estimated the number of Panzers that existed in 1942.

Margaritas with the Training track at the poolside tequila bar. Pasta and tacos at the icebreaker. Some polishing of tomorrow’s slides. Bed.
