How To Hunt A Dormouse

And rescue it.

I'd never seen a Garden Dormouse until last night.

Around eleven last night Munni brought me one as a late birthday present.  

What you need to know about them:

 - they're really quick
_ they can climb up wallpaper
- they are super cute
- and they need you to empty bookcases & chests of drawers to try to get to them
- my office was a complete tip afterwards
- I haven't had a "Danke Dir" from the critter
- I don't care about that

The boxes were used to catch it when it ran out from behind the bookcases, the torches to see it where it was.

It's a fair amount of effort at 11 at night.

Rescued, released and that makes coping with 37°C temperatures OK.
