The calm after the fires!

I felt very calm this morning, there was a ray of sunshine over the valley and the temperatures had dropped.  We got up late and it was going to rain!  The rain so far has lasted all of half an hour and that came down a drop at a time!  After shopping we had lunch and both fell asleep!  Then I spent a good part of the afternoon catching up with a friend on the phone!  Now the sun is back and everything looks great!

The fires here are over but in California there are huge areas where they rage!  I've been looking at maps on line!  Google California fires and you'' see what I mean.  

Off for a walk with my friend!!
