New Forest tea

I helped celebrate a friend's seventieth birthday at the New Forest Tea Rooms, Holmsley.  As you can see it was originally a railway station, but after the line was closed in the 1960s it found a new lease of life and is very popular with both tourists and locals.  I tried a savoury cream tea: cheese and chive scones with cream cheese and chutney.  Interesting, but I think I'll go for the conventional jam and cream next time.
