A Garden Surprise.....

I have been fertilizing the front plants and bushes all spring and summer. Yesterday this plant sent out a tall runner. Today it opened and tonight I got an iPhone photo. The west was bright and very warm (93) still . The color is a bit washed out, but I want to celebrate this plants tenacity. It’s been neglected for who knows how long, and hope or keeps trying!
