Imperial Examination

Another busy day. Managed to get the piccolo system all assembled and into the air. In the evening we got a quick tour of the old town. I hadn't quite appreciated how far the centre was away. It took us an hour to get into town. The place was absolutely packed with Chinese tourists. I was very impressed by the colours and the masses of people. Nanjing has been an important city in China for a long time. One of the tourist attractions is the imperial examinations hall where people were tested to become officials. I am quite amazed by the age of the culture. It does offer a different perspective. Needless to say, dinner was tasty, although I skipped the duck but tried the black tofu.
