Gold Finch

Today was another nice day off from work. It was still sunny and hot but I got out for a walk in the afternoon and spotted this gold finch as he was trying to get seeds from this thistle. Normally it is quite hard to get shots of them but this seems to be the best time of year as they seem to too busy to care if you get close.
