The Watcher.... Pegasus Beach

Keith and I returned to Blenheim today via the coastal route, SHW1. We drove into Pegasus Town en route to take a look at this new town still under construction near Woodend and 25 kms north of Christchurch. An amazing project. We drove to Pegasus Beach where some young men were planning a surfing session. Then we were back on SHW1 heading north. There was an enormous amount of damage to the land, road and rail from the November 2016 Kaikoura earthquake. Work is still being done so it was a slow trip with lots of stops and starts. Sam and the cats were pleased to see us when we arrived home.
