Not what was planned

I had planned on working on my college stuff today, but thanks to a late night search for the child's Christmas present I dived up to glasgow to try and get it.
However, I did get sidetracked as popped into to maxx first for a quick look. An hour and a half later and a bit of money I made it to the toy shop to see that thoms stuff wasn't there. Never mind.
Usual rushing about but ended the day with a nice chat with Thom about the owls that came to visit his class today. He was really taken with them and they all got to hold an owl, very cool.
Hopefully the hat will be finished tonight and pictures will follow.
