Look what arrived at my house this week. How marvelous. Well worth the wait, and not having Sky Atlantic.

Day 3 back at work and sort of got used to being there again - partly helped by planning my next holiday. Some of the duller tasks were improved by the glorious fact I can put my headphones in and listen to stuff like this while I type/click away. Must remember that a lot of workplaces don't let you do such things. Many years ago in a former job I got told off for having a book on my desk - not reading it, just having it sat there - by a woman who bore an uncanny resemblance to a sort of scaled-up version of Wee Jimmy Cranky. I'm reliably informed she's now on the dole. No comment.
