Dunedin again

It was a stunning day in Dunedin today. So many photo opportunities that show the city and area that I am fond of.

The stadium was an innovation built so the city can host sport, music and other events under cover any time of the year. No other city in NZ has one but many would like one. It can hold about 40,000 people. What a great asset for the city and for Otago.

The river in the foreground is the Leith. It is now very tamed within the concrete banks. Obviously, it has overflowed onto the uni area that surrounds the river just here.

I was very close to the sea here and beyond is the suburb of Waverly.

Nice day in Dunedin.
