Winter……..

…………….Morning



A walk along the track to Abel Tasman National Park this morning was a great way to start the day. 
The temperature was brisk and the sun was shining in an almost cloudless sky.

Several herons were stirring and enjoying the morning sun too. This one was captured performing it's morning ablutions while the duck sat motionless on the shared log.
