Smokey on the kitchen table. I think he's more himself now it has cooled down. He's been wormed again, given a second flea treatment and switched to lactose free milk. He's still eating twice as much as normal and has turned up for his supper two and a half hours early.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Jaki Whitren - Give Her the Day (recorded March 1973)
I mentioned when I posted the Mahavishnu Orchestra LOTD that the support act when I had seen them in June 1973 in Birmingham had been a 19-year old singer-songwriter called Jaki Whitren. Coincidentally, whilst playing a 3CD compilation album on this day called Milk Of The Tree - An Anthology Of Female Vocal Folk And Singer-Songwriters 1966-1973 I came across this, her debut single, included on the album Raw But Tender. I hope I enjoyed her set as she didn't enjoy the success she should have had.
