The day dawned with plenty of blue sky and sunshine so we headed over to Durham for an early morning walk. There was a nip in the air but it soon warmed up. The Parkrun set off at 9 a.m. and there were lots of people doing it. We did it in reverse and at walking pace giving the runners lots of encouragement as we walked. The River Wear was exceptionally busy with rowers doing their training and I loved the shimmer on the water in the view taken from the bridge as we crossed over. I was shooting directly into the sun and was not sure how it would turn out. On the way home we dropped off additional supplies for The Boy and played with Maddie for an hour. The Boy is much better today and is now trying to rebuild his strength. Maddie has been a very good nurse.
