Schweriner Schloss

The medieval town of Schwerin is a small 1-hour train ride from Rostock, and is worth a visit. The city itself has a very exciting story that began with the  West Slavic tribe, obotrites in the 800s.  was used by East Germany for something as useful as school for kindergarten teachers.
