Oranges at last

It is now three years since we planted this orange grove. Last year we had a small crop but this year, I'm told, about half of the 3863 trees flowered, so it's looking good.
As well as the oranges, we have tangerines, satsumas, grapefruits, lemons and limes, all improved variety. They are all grown from lemon seed. We then bud the lemon seedlings and buds from best stock, often from abroad but more recently from the Natural Resources College in Lilongwe, who can now send the scions up the 400 km, by bus, in a cool bag in a new door to door service!!.
We produce over 5000 citrus seedlings each year, as well as a similar number of other fruits, like Mango, Guava, Apples, Pears, Peaches, Avocado, and just now trying grapes
