One night in Galway (and the world's your oyster?)

We arrived whilst the annual horse racing event was in full swing and the town was buzzing with smartly dressed race goers getting the drinks in before all lining up to catch the waiting buses to the race course. We had an excellent meal in Kai restaurant and had hoped to catch some pub music in The Crane Bar but nothing materialised.
