Season for picking blackberries. As every year I have been picking and canning the wealth of berries around our property.
This morning I picked 7 pounds between 7.30 and 9. Then I was soaked as the sun was hot already. The afternoon will be dedicated to jam, compote, cobblers and pies:-)
