Starting up!

Unit EC 3 and unit EC 7 are starting up, and at a certain phase it looks a bit dirty and steamy. The yellow/brown color of the fluegas is only temporary and depends on the mode the burners are in. In diffusionmode which is used during start-up the flame has to be more stable; later on the burners are switched over to premix mode and the output of NOx then decreases to "green" values.
The steam is being blown off at first to ensure the right quality of the steam prior to sending it to the turbine.
