Mono Monday : Joints.....

......and I thought this illustrated it quite well.  If you look carefully you can see the "old" marks the carpenters put on each piece to match them up when they built the house.  It's an oak framed house built on the tower system (or at least I think that's how it is described)!

Personally I preferred the one in extras but wasn't sure if these qualified as joints!
