Jungle bird

Sylvie, our pretty fluffy ankled hen was sitting on the roof of a low chicken house surveying the scene around her.

In my extra is Booboo the naughty white cockeral who was looking for her amongst the green leaves and plants. She was quite safe up high as he couldn't see where she had gone.

We have had enough rain now and I am over the novelty of being soaked. The plants and grass are well watered and the water butts are once again full. It's very warm this evening and with outdoor events planned for next week I am hoping the hot weather will return.
