Sunflowers

I pass this field when heading to Omagh or Donegal ( the light was going), it is on the road between Omagh & Ballygawley. The owners did this last year & again this year, as you can see they invite you to cut some sunflowers, a pair of secateurs are sitting on the money box & hopefully a donation is left for a very good cause. It makes me smile to see the sunflowers & what a great idea. This year in Ardstraw another farmer planted sunflowers in one of his fields, they are already over, but have raised over £21,000 for a cancer charity.
The extra is some of Michael's American visitors, who we took to Tullan Strand, near Bundoran, they wanted to ride on an Irish Beach, they enjoyed themselves. I hoped they would head back on the beach cantering, but they went along the sand dunes.
